Currently, Imatest’s dot pattern module can be used to computes radial geometric distortion from a dot pattern test chart using a method similar to one in the ISO 17850 standard.  The main difference is that ISO 17850 separately measures vertical and directions of distortion, where the current Imatest methods generate optical distortion on a radial basis.
